Married At First Sight’s Nasser Sultan has exited the reality TV show after an emotional row with TV wife, Gabrielle Bartlett.
On Monday we reported that the 50-year-old personal trainer friend-zoned his 44-year-old wife after confirming the two have no “sexual chemistry”.
But last night’s episode saw the couple’s fate play out in a heartbreaking series of steps. The two struggled during their homestay challenge as they headed to Gabrielle’s chosen residence on the Northern Beaches, after the mother-of-one and Nasser failed to compromise over the living arrangements – in short, they didn’t stay at Gabrielle’s place out of respect to her teenage daughter.
Tensions erupted when Nasser described the rented apartment as “possessed”. Things got so bad, Gabrielle broke down in tears, as her TV husband stormed out of the home and tarnished any hope of saving their relationship.
“I don’t care how this comes across, I don’t want to stay here,” he said before slamming the door and walking away.
Hours after the abrupt fight, Nasser came back, but instead of apologising he simply packed his belongings, while Gabrielle left the apartment to return home to see her daughter.
