Last week, Married At First Sight alums Zoe Hendrix and Alex Garner confirmed their split last week, but only a few days after their shock news, the mother-of-one has shared an emotional Instagram about her current state of mind.
Opening up about her heartbreak with loyal fans, the reality star posted a video of her and 17-month-old daughter, Harper, followed by a sad admission.
“Thanks for your messages of support. Breakups are like hell Breakups with a baby are next level hell,” she confessed.
“I’m in a s**t place right now, but i know in time I will recover from this. For my daughter, I have to.”
After her split from Alex, Zoe has admitted she and Harper had moved out of their family home.
The also revealed she was currently spending some time away from her beloved daughter, ending her social media post with ‘Just you and your angel baby. Goodnight Harps, I miss you.’
As previously reported, Zoe took to Instagram to confirm the news of their break-up and revealed that at this stage their daughter, Harper Rose is their main priority.
“It is with sadness that Alex and I would like to state that we will be separating for now,” she began.
“We are determined to ensure our beautiful daughter Harper Rose continues to receive the unconditional love and nurturing she deserves from the both of us.
“Thank you to all our followers and friends who have supported us through the highs and lows throughout the years.”
On the back of this, Garner also broke his silence on the matter via social media.
Garner penned a heartfelt caption alongside a wedding snap of himself and his former partner Zoe.
“Zoe and I both went into this experiment with open minds and really hoping to find A partner to share our lives with,” he began.
“We are so fortunate and thankful that we were matched together and have shared many great experiences over the last four years.”
He went on to admit that while the couple has split, their 17-month-old daughter is their main priority.
“We share the most important thing in both of our lives Harper Rose and will continue to love her and be the best parents possible.”
“Although Zoe and I have separated our relationship is Civil. Thank you to our friends and followers for your continuing support.”
The couple took part in the MAFS social experiment 2015 and welcomed their daughter in November the following year.
