He’s the hunky astrophysicist stealing all of Australia’s hearts on The Bachelor, but back in 1995, Matt Agnew was even more adorable.
The 31-year-old’s primary school – St Anthony’s School in Edwardstown, South Australia – shared a photo of him in Year Three to their Instagram story.
“And for those of you wondering, this is Bachelor Matt in yr 3 at St Anthony’s School circa 1995,” they wrote on the sweet childhood picture of the new Bachie.

While he appears to be a great deal smaller and is missing his fancy Bachelor-suit, the photo reveals that Matt’s warm smile hasn’t changed over the years.
St Anthony’s also shared a photo of Matt visiting his alma mater, speaking to the primary school students about astrophysics and football.
“It was back to school for the Bachelor Australia’s Dr Matt Agnew on Friday – back to his old primary school at our very own St Anthonys School Edwardstown. The Sunday Mail was there to capture all the fun and excitement, which included Bachelor Matt reuniting with his former teachers and happily chatting to our Year 4 students about everything from footy to space,” read the caption.

The 31-year-old Aussie grew up in Adelaide and Perth as one of four children.
However, Matt is now based in Melbourne where he works as an astrophysicist in the Centre for Astrophysics and Supercomputing at the Swinburne University of Technology.
Matt, who holds a Master of Science in Astrophysics from Sweden’s Lund University, looks up to his parents’ 30+ year marriage and wants the same kind of relationship.
“I’ve got a real ‘do it once, do it right’ mentality so I’ll be making sure I throw myself into it, be vulnerable and enjoy what comes from that,” Matt told 10 Play ahead of the new season of The Bachelor.
A source revealed to New Idea that this year’s season of The Bachelor will be the most explosive one yet, and said to expect huge fights between contestants.
“The girls are forced to go to extreme lengths to secure time with Matt and there are more shock twists, tantrums and catfights than ever before,” the source said of the reality tv show.
So far, the Aussie scientist has shown interest in bubbly blonde Elly and self-proclaimed ‘Persian Princess,’ Sogand.
However, with the introduction of eight new contestants in the last episode, things are likely to change.
