Bachelor star Matty J has taken to Instagram to share some fun behind-the-scenes photos of his recent buck’s night, as he and Laura Byrne gear up for their imminent wedding.
The parents of two have been open about their delayed wedding – following a sweet proposal in Fiji in 2019, the couple were planning on a 2020 wedding but COVID got in the way.
Laura then took to Instagram in 2021 to share that they had also planned to get married on November 12th yet COVID had once again put a stop to their plans.
Despite teasing fans with a potential last-minute Bali wedding earlier this year, it looks like the happy couple are set to say I do soon, with Laura sharing snaps of her hen’s party earlier this month and Matty now celebrating his buck’s night.
Captioning the series of photos, “survived the last hurrah! 🙌🙌” and “#timeforthebigdance,” it’s safe to say the couple’s wedding is soon!
The fun bachelor party saw the group of men go suit shopping, whitewater rafting and then head onto a charter yacht.
The crew even managed to run into Olympic rafter Jessica Fox during their fun!
Laura herself commented on the pics, writing “can’t wait to marry the s**t out of you.”
Matty’s bachelor party comes just weeks after Laura celebrated her own bachelorette party.
Laura, 38, started off her ‘hen’s weekend’ with manicures, drinks and karaoke, before kicking back with friends for a weekend of fun.
“Mrs Johnson 💓 coming in hot” she captioned the first set of pics, which showed Laura wearing a bedazzled bride hat and sipping a Margarita alongside her friends who were holding up Matty-J-inspired masks.
In another Instagram photo, Laura was seen in an amazing off-the-shoulder white dress, alongside the caption “Ring a ding ding 💍”
“This ‘hen’ is well and truly cooked!” she wrote in another gallery of pics on Instagram.
“All my favourite women in the one room, 4 years in the making and enough terrible karaoke to last a life time,” she continued.
“I can’t wait to marry you @matthewdavidjohnson ❤️”
