Bachelor star Matty J Johnson has discussed a very surprising fact about what he wished he hadn’t done on the show.
Speaking to Nova 96.9’s Matt, Sarah & Matty J breakfast show, the reality-TV star – who just welcomed his first child with fiance Laura Byrne – said that he wishes he didn’t pass wind on the show!

“The only thing that I was really worried about, a couple of times, I think there was one time in particular when I was on Laura’s date when I passed wind.”
Sarah was horrified and asked why?
Matty J replied with, “What do you mean why I was gassy (can’t you control yourself?). Let me tell you that you’re filming for three months, do not tell me that in a three month window you don’t at least once let off a little fart (you are not filming for three months straight). It was an accident, anyway it didn’t make it to air and Laura and I are really happy.”
Matty also discussed the stress of being away from his heavily pregnant partner as he filmed a new travel show.
“It was really touch and go, it was a bit of a double edged sword, I was probably on the waiting list for 2 months, not knowing if I had the gig or not, so I was fingers crossed, at the same time we didn’t actually now when we would be filming but then, the longer we waiting it was getting closer to the birth, when I finally found out that I had the gig I then realised I would be shooting up until two weeks before Laura gave birth.”
“It was a bit of a testing time, especially when I would be exhausted after a long day of shooting, then I would say to Laura hey it was so frustrating when I was on a shoot today in Barcelona because the Ferrari was not available and all we could get was a Porsche, then the wind picked up so the helicopter wouldn’t take off we had to cut short the trip by half an hour, anyway how are you honey?”
Little Marlie-Mae Rose wasn’t born in June and the adorable baby girl has her father wrapped around her little finger, with Matty regularly taking to Instagram to Instagram to show her off any chance her gets.
The pair announced they were expecting in late 2018 after suffering a devastating miscarriage earlier that year.
