Paul Walker’s daughter Meadow, is set to honour her father at an awards ceremony hosted by The Paul Walker Foundation.
Meadow announced the news alongside a rare photo posted to Instagram.
“Excited to honor my dad’s legacy at our @PaulWalkerFdn Ocean Leadership Award Presentation @MontereyBayAquarium this Saturday,” reads the image post. “We’ll be presenting a scholarship to Meg Kikkeri and acknowledging @AdrianGrenier’s work with his @LonelyWhale Foundation! #dogood,”.
Meadow started the Paul Walker Foundation, which focuses on funding marine science research, last year on her father’s birthday.
“Reflecting on my father, I found myself reflecting on his passions,” she wrote on Instagram last year. “His passion for the ocean, his passion for rescuing animals, his passion for helping people and his passion for spontaneous goodwill. I wanted to start this foundation because I want to share that piece of him with the world. I want to share that part of him with others.”
Meadow was was awarded US$10.1 million after a settlement with Roger Rodas’ estate. Rodas was tragically killed along with Walker in the 2013 crash.
