Model Megan Gale has posted some adorable snaps from a family trip taken right before Victoria’s most recent lockdown.
Megan and her gorgeous family traveled to Merricks North for a secluded getaway at a gorgeous AirBnB, located on a vineyard.
“Now with restrictions easing here in Melbourne, hitting the road, exploring new parts of Victoria and supporting local businesses has never been more important,” she wrote in the caption.
Posting a few weeks after the fact, just as restrictions in Melbourne were finishing up, Megan wrote about their beautiful experience.
“Shaun, myself and the kids were lucky enough to get away just before we went into lockdown and we stayed at @airbnb host, Nick’s beautiful home in Merricks North.
“Nick’s home was peaceful, beautifully designed and surrounded by lush gardens with plenty to see and explore. Looking back now, post lock-down, it was the perfect place for us to reconnect as a family and enjoy some quality time together,” she wrote.
The carousel post featured pictures of the property, as well as pictures of Megan and her two kids, Rosie and River.
River recently turned seven, while Rosie is almost four.
Megan met partner Shaun Hampson, a former AFL player, in 2010, when they shared a digital courtship via Skype.
“In the beginning it was hard to navigate, I didn’t want my profile to scare him away and as soon as we started hanging out, there was paparazzi,” Megan told WHO 2019.
However, Shaun has admitted he knew “straight away” that Megan was something special.
Megan has been modelling for more than 20 years, and is a well-known figure in the Australian fashion and entertainment industries.
She is also the owner of Dollywood Daylesford, a popular holiday house and destination in Daylesford, Victoria.
