Meghan Markle has managed to get out of meeting Donald Trump when he makes a visit to the UK next week.
However, the Queen, Prince Charles, Camilla, Prince William and Kate Middleton are all expected to join the US President during his State visit on June 3-5.
Despite the fact that Meghan has expressed her dislike for Trump in the past, her absence is not to do with politics, rather it is due to the fact that the duchess is still on maternity leave having given birth to son, Archie on May 6.
On the first day of the controversial US President’s stay, it is believed he will attend a state dinner hosted by Queen Elizabeth, as well as a private lunch with Prince Harry, according to a source for ET Online.
In an interview on The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore in May 2016, Meghan famously slammed Trump, calling him “divisive” and “misogynistic” and declaring that she would “just stay in Canada,” where Suits was filmed, if he was elected president.
