As we’re all painfully aware, Miley and Liam are in the middle of a bitter divorce, one that might land them both in court.
So, after the “Slide Away” singer got the word “Freedom” permanantly inked across her knuckles, we’re going to assume that it’s either her impending freedom that will come form the divorce, or it has somehow been finalised sooner than we thought.
Timing really is everything!
Liam filed for divorce on August 21, days after they announced their initial split. The news came after seven months of marriage in December 2018, but their relationship has spanned over an entire decade.
The way things have panned out so far, their non-amicable split has been turning messier and messier.
Radar Online has recently reported that the pair will most likely have to reunite if their forms aren’t filed properly, at a status conference at the Stanley Mosk courthouse, California, in the new year.
However, things may have changed since then.
“Miley has accepted that this is over and has now agreed to move forward with the divorce process,” the insider close to the former couple told the publication.
“It’s sure to be interesting,” they added.
Both Miley and Liam have moved onto new relationships since their divorce.
Miley, who is currently dating 22-year-old Cody Simpson, was initially in a very public relationship with Kaitlynn Carter, Brody Jenner’s ex-wife.
As for Liam, he is said to be with 22-year-old Australian actress Maddison Brown, after they were first spotted together in October when on a date in New York City.
“@hemsworthluke captured this moment of me and my best friend Dora. Good god I love this dog,” Liam captioned the Instagram photo.
Close friend and fellow actor Adan DeVine was the one who planted break up rumours, after leaving the comment “Thirst TRAP.”
Liam replied: “I just googled thirst trap. 100% true.”
