Troublesome duo Josh and Austin have their first shot at cooking on My Kitchen Rules tonight and they managed to cop a bit of flak for their instant restaurant which has been described as perhaps the worst one in the history of the show.
Speaking to WHO, Amanda Proud has opened up about what Josh and Austin’s house was really like.
“They’re two young boys, they obviously don’t know, maybe in home school, they weren’t taught how to maintain a household which I thought you would get taught about housework,” she admits.
Meanwhile, social media influencer Ash said: “It was so weird going to their house, and it was covered in ciggie butts and cat food. Like Oh my God. How could you guys be judging anyone?”
His fiancé Stacey even confirmed the unruly state of their home. “Ash was genuinely concerned,” she started.
“Ash was like to the producer, ‘Has anyone checked their kitchen to see if there’s any poison or anything?’ And they’re like, ‘What?’ We were like, no we don’t want to eat here. If this was a restaurant, it would be like the backstreets of Sydney or something.”
Eek. Poor boys – maybe they should stick to table-side banter!
