MKR: Josh and Austin confirm the truth about their Instant Restaurant

WHO goes behind the scenes with the controversial contestants.

The tension boils over in the kitchen on My Kitchen Rules tonight as Josh and Austin are told their dishes were some of the worst ever to be seen on the show.

But in a chat with WHO, Josh believes that despite their shortfalls the stove, they are very committed to winning.

” I think the thing you will see with me and Austin is that we sometimes find ourselves in situations where we have no clue what we’re doing but we’re committed,” Josh says.

Before he warns: “If we’re committed, we’ll find a way through. It’s going to be a bit of a bumpy ride in the beginning but man, watch out.

As previously reported on WHO, the two copped flak for their instant restaurant based on the cleanliness of their Sydney home.

“They’re two young boys, they obviously don’t know, maybe in home school, they weren’t taught how to maintain a household which I thought you would get taught about housework,” Amanda Proud told WHO.

And she wasn’t the only disgruntled contestant, with Bryon Bay couple Ash and Stacey confirming the state of the home they visited.

“It was so weird going to their house, and it was covered in ciggie butts and cat food. Like Oh my God. How could you guys be judging anyone?” Ash said.

His fiancé Stacey also backed him up. “Ash was genuinely concerned,” she started.

“Ash was like to the producer, ‘Has anyone checked their kitchen to see if there’s any poison or anything?’ And they’re like, ‘What?’ We were like, no we don’t want to eat here. If this was a restaurant, it would be like the backstreets of Sydney or something.”
