Another’s major cast member has left Grey’s Anatomy just give episodes into the new season.
Nathan Riggs, played by Martin Henderson, has finished his time on Grey’s Anatomy as a series regular.
“I loved that we were able to give Riggs a happy ending worthy of his character and talent,” executive producer Shonda Rhimes told EW.
However, it’s not all bad news for fans of the actor, as he will most likely pop up in another project by Rhimes.
“As for Martin, this is not an ending for our relationship. He has been part of the Shondaland family since the pilot of Inside the Box and he will always be family,” she said. “I can’t wait to find a new project to work with him on in the future.”
The episode sees Riggs and Megan Hunt, played by Abigail Spencer, move to Los Angeles to start a new life together.
Hunt was presumed dead for years after disappearing in Iraq whilst on duty in the Army.
