It’s one of the longest-running soaps in history, having been on air for 35 years – and now Neighbours fans are going to get a chance to see even more of the iconic Aussie soap.
The UK’s Channel 5 has given the go-ahead for a spin-off series based on Ramsey Street.
Neighbours: Erinsborough High will be a five-episode series that will play on My5, Channel 5’s on-demand service, according to news.com.au.

The show will follow what goes on behind the school gates of Erinsborough High during exam period, with the disappearance of one of the Year 12 students revealing a series of dramatic events.
“Neighbours continues to be a popular show, which has brought enjoyment to audiences for many years, so it’s hugely exciting to bring its first-ever spin-off series to fans in the UK exclusively on My5,” said Oli Thomas, vice president digital lead at Channel 5.
Some of Australia’s most well-known stars have launched their careers on the Aussie soap; including Margot Robbie, Guy Pearce, Russell Crowe, Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan.
