Liam Hemsworth finally confirmed his new romance with 21-year-old Gabriella Brooks earlier this week after the pair were pictured getting cosy during a day at the beach.

And now, friends are reporting that The Hunger Games star is “getting serious” with the model, marking the Aussie actor’s first serious relationship since splitting from ex-wife, Miley Cyrus last year.
“[They] have spent a lot of time in Australia together,’ said an insider. ‘She has met his siblings and parents [and] Liam has been in a great mood,” a source told PEOPLE.
Liam, 30, and Gabriella enjoy the same hobbies — exercising, surfing and relaxing at the beach — and the Australian star’s pals get along with the model too. “Liam has been in a great mood,” the source says.
However, despite falling fast for Gabriella, sources recently told WHO that the star did not want to rush their relationship.
“He and Miley [Cyrus, his estranged wife] still parent their pets together,” WHO’s source spilled, “so he and Gabriella are taking things slowly.”
In exclusive photographs obtained by New Idea and WHO earlier this week, Liam who’s now permanently living in Australia after finalising his divorce from “Slide Away” singer, Miley— can be seen cuddling up to Gabriella whilst enjoying a beach day at Byron Bay.
Liam looked more in love than ever as he planted a few kisses on the beautiful 21-year-old, who he reportedly spent New Year’s Eve with.
After soaking up the sun in the sweltering Aussie heat, the couple cooled off by taking a dip in the ocean, with Liam cheekily placing his hand on the model’s derriere.
Confirmation Liam and Gabriella— who studied ancient history and archaeology at the University of Sydney— are officially an item comes after they were spotted grabbing lunch and spending time with his parents, Craig and Leonie.
“Liam feels comfortable with Gabriella. His family approves of her and really likes her, which is very important to him,” an insider told US Weekly after photos emerged of the get-together.
While he is yet to speak about his new flame, a source close to the couple revealed in December that they’ve been together for some time now.
“They’ve known about each other for a while, but he just started seeing her for a few weeks now,” the source told the outlet last year, adding he’s formed a “strong connection” with Gabriella.
“Liam is very close with his family, so he wouldn’t introduce them to a girl unless it was serious.”
