In a move that no-one saw coming, controversial The Bachelor star Nick Cummins is set to make his return to TV…on The Bachelorette!

According to a new report from New Idea, the Honey Badger is set to shake things up when he joins this year’s season as an intruder in the hope to steal Angie Kent’s heart.
“Following the backlash Nick copped after his season [when he dumped both Brittany Hockley and Sophie Tieman], he feels it would be a great opportunity to rewrite the past and show Australia the real Nick,” New Idea’ source spills.
“Coming back as a contestant will be a totally different experience than being the Bachelor. It’s a lot less pressure and hopefully a more relaxed environment where he can be himself this time.”
Nick famously caused controversy on The Bachelor last year after he rejected both the finalists during a dramatic finale. However it appears Nick is ready to put his “soul destroying” experience on The Bachelor behind him and give love another go.
“Nick is in a much better place now than he was a year ago, but he feels he can’t move forward without righting his wrongs,” the source continued.
“He’s reached out to a lot of the girls [from his season] but none of them want a bar of it, so he feels this is the only option left to clear his name and show his true colours.”
While he’s currently in Europe, the source claims Nick will be flown back for filming. “It was important for him to clear his mind before filming so he’s mentally prepared and can really give it his all this time.”
And Nick may very well be Angie’s cup of tea, with the blonde star admitting in the pas her ideal man will “have to have an epic sense of humour, not take themselves too seriously and also be true to themselves.”
