Nicole Kidman accidentally revealed a major spoiler for the upcoming season of Big Little Lies…and co-star Reese Witherspoon wasn’t happy!

During an interview for the premiere of season two, Nicole was asked about what it was like to work with Alexander Skarsgard – whose character was killed in the final episode of season one – and the Aussie star appeared to confirm that the actor would be back for the upcoming season.
‘[Skarsgard] was the most incredible acting partner, and then he came back for season two,’ she blurted.
Up until this point, Alexander- who played the abusive husband of Nicole’s character, Celeste – had been coy about whether he was set to return in some form.
And according to People, Nicole’s co-star, Reese appeared to try and divert attention, giggling while seeming ‘slightly concerned,’ before motioning to Kidman to stop talking.
‘He has a little bit of a part in the sense of … the basis of … okay, I’ll be quiet,’ Nicole spluttered. ‘He didn’t abandon us. We’ll put it that way.’
The second season of the hit show is set to premiere on HBO on June 9 and will see Nicole, Reese, Zoe Kravitz, Laura Dern, Shailene Woodley and new attention, Meryl Streep pick up where season one left off.
