Jackson, the daughter of late music icon Michael Jackson, apparently received some flack on social media for not posting about Father’s Day, Sunday.
In response, the 18-year-old wrote on Twitter, Monday, “If you try to harass someone into posting online about a holiday (father’s day), ask yourself if it’s any of your business.”
Hours later, she added, “having 8 tattoos dedicated to someone overrules a single post about them on a stupid social media acc because of a holiday. #justmyopinion.”
Jackson also retweeted another user who questioned, “wait they’re really giving you a hard time for not posting yesterday? Really? How you remember your father is your business.”
Only 11 years old when her father died in 2009, Jackson has paid tribute to the singer with several tattoos over the past few months.
In April, Jackson got “Queen of My Heart” in her father’s handwriting, explaining, “To everyone else he was the King of Pop. To me, well, he was the king of my heart.”
Just last month, she added more Michael-themed ink, namely, the cover art from his 1989 album Dangerous.
Of the body art, she wrote, “Never forget your roots, and always be proud of where you came from.”
