Paula Abdul’s mother Lorraine Abdul has passed away at age 85.
ET revealed that the Straight Up singer’s mum died on Sunday January 14 in California.
Lorraine, who was an accomplished concert pianist, regularly attended A-list events with her daughter, including standing by her side when she received her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

On Tuesday Paula took to Twitter to share a photo from a trip to Israel, where she reflected on living life to the fullest.
