Peter Stefanovic is very happy to confirm that he’s landed his dream new work gig.

Peter Stefanovic is set to return to breakfast TV for Sky News’ flagship morning show: First Edition.
He will join anchor Laura Jayes.
“I’m excited. Thrilled about it, actually,” he told News Corp.
“It’s a great challenge, a wonderful opportunity and a fantastic privilege to be asked to be part of the Sky News team.”
Taking to Twitter, Pete spoke about his new role – and included that all important start date.
“Thrilled to be joining @ljayes as host of @SkyNewsAust First Edition from July 1. It’s a great team, that I look forward to being a part of. All the domestic & international news & interviews. Can’t wait to rip in.”
Peter previously worked on Channel 9’s Weekend Today.
