Pink has made a major charitable donation by giving US$500 000 to help those impacted by Hurricane Harvey in Texas.
The Red Cross Los Angeles confirmed the singer’s generous donation in a Tweet on Friday.
“Thank you @Pink from the bottom of our ❤️ for your donation of a half million dollars to @RedCross #HurricaneHarvey relief efforts!” they wrote.
Red Cross LA also shared a video of volunteers thanking Pink with the caption: “We’re partial to red, but pink is great, too. Thank you @Pink for your generous donation to our #HurricaneHarvey relief efforts.”
Other celebrities who have donated to help aid the relief include Sandra Bullock, Taylor Swift, Leonardo DiCaprio and the Kardashians.
