Princess Charlotte will be joining her big brother Prince George at Thomas’s Battersea School today.
Located roughly 5 kilometres from the Cambridge family home of Kensington Palace, the future king has been attending lessons at the school for the past two years.

In 2017, Prince William accompanied his son to his first day at Thomas’s Battersea – Prince George’s mother, Kate Middleton, was reportedly fighting off morning sickness from her pregnancy with his brother, Prince Louis.
The then-four-year-old donned the Thomas’s Battersea uniform (a navy v-neck jersey and trousers).
At school, the young royal is known as George Cambridge – due to his father’s title as the Duke of Cambridge.
“There won’t be any special treatment,” Ben Thomas, former headmaster of Thomas’s Battersea, told People reporters at the time.
“In fact, what his parents would like for him, as any parent would like for their child, is they have a wonderful, fulfilling and private childhood.”
According to Yahoo, the school – which boasts impressive alumni such as Cara Delevingne and singer Florence Welch from Florence and The Machine – costs $30 000 a year and places a huge emphasis on kindness amongst its students.
The headmaster Simon O’Malley also stated that the school’s core values are “courtesy, confidence, humility and learning to be givers, not takers.”
“The emphasis in the Lower School is enjoyment and this is embedded in our broad curriculum and our most important school rule of ‘Be Kind’,” Ms Haslem said in a statement on the prep school’s website.

On Prince George’s first day of school, Clarence House shared a side by side photo of the young royal with his grandfather, Prince Charles in their elementary school uniforms.
Kensington Palace also shared photos of Prince Harry and Prince William on their first days of school – at Wetherby School in London – accompanied by their late mother, Princess Diana.
