They may be free to attend any event they fancy following their split from the royal family, but Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reported to have turned down an invite to the Hollywood event of the year – the Oscars!

The royal couple are alleged to have been asked to present the award for Best Picture at the 92nd Academy Awards on Sunday night.
However, according to HELLO! the Duke and Duchess of Sussex politely declined the invite.
‘They were honoured by the request, but declined the invitation,’ a source told the publication.
The award for Best Picture went to ‘Parasite’ on the night.
The royal snub may come as a surprise to some, given reports last month that former Suits star, Meghan is on the hunt for a Hollywood agent.
“Meghan is actively looking for representation. She has begun outreach,” a source told US Weekly.
“It can be a manager or an agent, but she’s reaching out to people to find someone to represent her for future professional projects.”
And all signs pointed towards a return to the screen when Prince Harry introduced his wife to Disney CEO Bob Iger at the Lion King premiere.
He was filmed saying Meghan, 38, “does voiceovers,” adding, “She’s really interested.”
The CEO replied “Sure. We’d love to try.”
Harry and Meghan also chatted to The Lion King director Jon Favreau, where the actress joked, “That’s really why we’re here — to pitch.”
The exchange saw Meghan get cast in a Disney documentary, in exchange for a donation to the charity Elephants Without Borders.
