Prince Harry is said to have been left distraught over the sudden death of his friend and mentor, Jules Roberts.
The 37-year-old adventurer is said to have committed suicide six years after training alongside the Duke of Sussex for a South Pole trek to raise funds and awareness for the military charity ‘Walking With The Wounded’.

According to The Mirror, Harry is said to be “very upset” and sent a private note and flowers to Roberts’ funeral.
“This has come as a real shock. Harry and Jules hit it off from the moment they met,” a source told the online publication.

Roberts, who was found dead earlier this month on August 5, leaves behind wife Francesca and their two-year-old daughter.
In 2013, a then 28-year-old Harry trained alongside Jules for the grueling South Pole expedition, with the pair and their teammates walking around 16 kilometers per day in temperatures as low as -45°C.

The sad news is yet a further blow to the Duke of Sussex, who has endured a tough week after being publicly criticised for taking four private jets in the space of 11 days, as he celebrated wife Meghan Markle’s 38th birthday in Ibiza, followed by a stay at close friend, Elton John’s luxury villa in Nice, France.
