Prince Harry excites children with visit during Caribbean tour

It’s no secret that Prince Harry is great with kids, and his latest official visit to the Caribbean has been no exception.

Since November 20, the 32-year-old has been touring the tropical sub-continent on behalf of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, but it’s the local children that have found themselves especially entranced by the royal.

Prince Harry was snapped grinning as he met the young citizens of Soufriere, Saint Lucia on Friday, engaging in conversation and even “fist bumping” with the friendly locals.

During a visiting to a Turtle Conservation Project in Colonarie, Saint Vincent and the Grenadines on Saturday, the prince proved he’s a natural with kids and formed a strong bond with one boy in particular.

Always the life of the party, Prince Harry showed off his dance moves, doing a “dab” at a youth sports festival in Antigua.

14-year-old netball player, Harmony Edwards was lucky enough to share an embrace with the prince at the event, with her friend, Rayan Regis, describing him as “really lovely.”

A spokesperson for Kensington Palace has said in a statement that since his first tour in 2012, the Caribbean has become a place close to Prince Harry’s heart.

“Price Harry holds special memories of his last visit to the Caribbean, and of the warmth, friendliness and sense of fun that comes so naturally to this region.”

The tour will take him through seven countries, including Antigua, Barbuda, Saint Kitts, Nevis, Saint Lucia, Saint Vincent, the Grenadines, Granada and Barbados.
