Princess Beatrice has officially changed her relationship status from ‘girlfriend’ to ‘fiance’ after her beau Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi dropped to one knee while the couple were on holiday in Italy earlier this month.
And of course, the property tycoon had one heck of a sparkler with which to pop the question to his beloved.

Beatrice’s younger sister Eugenie shared a close-up snap of the engagement bling on her congratulatory post, showing off the classic-style ring to her followers.
The platinum or white-gold design features a large central brilliant-cut diamond and tapered diamond shoulders, and was created by British jeweller Shaun Leane.
Bea’s dad, Prince Andrew, revealed on Instagram that ‘Edo’ (as the family call him) helped design the piece himself.
The princess’ new diamonds weren’t the only beautiful thing she wore in her engagement snaps, though, with Bea wearing a green floral-print dress by Australian designer Zimmermann to share her exciting news.
The gorgeous long-sleeved maxi (which retails for around $1020 AUD) was the perfect piece to pair with her shiny new accessory for the romantic UK autumn announcement.
Bea’s mum, Sarah Ferguson, also shared the engagement news on social media, taking to both Twitter and Instagram to express her joy.
“@princesseugenie took the colour photographs as my girls are so close,” she captioned her Insta post.
“Beatrice and Edo wanted her to capture this special moment.
“The black and white photographs were taken by Misan Harriman at Royal Lodge, Windsor Great Park.
Misan’s thoughts on the special news were also shared in Fergie’s post.
“Everything clicks when they are together and that’s exactly what my lens captured. It was an honour to observe and document such love.”

And Edo’s parents, Nikki Williams-Ellis and Alessandro Mapelli Mozzi, are equally thrilled at the news!
