Next week is set to mark a huge milestone for Princess Charlotte: the cheeky royal is starting her first day at big school!
Kensington Palace has confirmed the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will accompany Princess Charlotte – as well as older brother Prince George, six – for her first day of school at Thomas’s Battersea on Thursday 5th September.
WATCH the adorable moment Princess Charlotte copies the Queen’s wave:
Charlotte, four, has been attending Willcocks Nursery in Kensington since January 2018, and is set to begin her first term at the West London- school which Prince George has been attending for the past two years.
According to HELLO, it is expected that the Cambridge family will take part in a short photo-call before Charlotte heads inside for her first day.
Charlotte’s first day at the London private school will also be extra special for mum Kate Middleton, who was unable to attend Prince George’s first day of school in 2017 as she was pregnant with Prince Louis and suffering from acute morning sickness.
Thomas’s Battersea is located in the affluent London suburb of Kensington and caters not only to the Royal Family but to England’s high society. Earlier last week, the school announced the upcoming curriculum for Prince George – and he’s set to be kept very busy!
The core subjects that the school teaches is math, English, science, history and geography, religious studies, French, computing, art/design technology, music, drama, P.E. and ballet.
According to the school’s website, the curriculum reflects the “increased ability of children”.
Princess Charlotte recently thrilled royal fans by cheekily poking out her tongue at a sailing regatta. Watch the video below:
