Princess Eugenie and her older sister Princess Beatrice – alongside cousin Prince Harry – were surprise guests at the Queen’s garden party yesterday, and the recently married royal took to Instagram to share some personal pictures from the special event.

Eugenie shared three pictures from the party held at Buckingham Palace: One of herself chatting to Bea whilst the Queen and Harry walked ahead, and two others of herself and her sister mingling with guests.
The 29-year-old captioned the post: “This afternoon, my sister and I attended a Garden Party at Buckingham Palace in support of Her Majesty.
“I really enjoyed meeting such a diverse group of people who were all invited in recognition of their work in their respective communities.”
The event was held as part of a tradition in which the Queen hosts three garden parties at Buckingham Palace over the European summer and one at her Scottish residence, Holyroodhouse. The events sees some 30,000 guests attend, all who have been deemed to have made an outstanding contribution to their community.
