In a video of her speech (posted by Kelly Lynch from Dailybreak), Fergie brings up her son-in-law, before briefly saying “What else can I tell you? No, she’s not pregnant!”
“I’m just going through what the journalists say and they’re all here, so I thought I’d just fill it in,” the Duchess added.
Rumours began to swirl when Eugenie shared an Instagram post in January celebrating the anniversary of their engagement.
“#tbt to exactly this day last year – Jack and I announced our engagement. What a year it’s been since then and how exciting for 2019,” she wrote in the caption.
Royal fans believe the princess was alluding to her pregnancy in her “excitement for 2019.”
More fuel was added to the fire when Eugenie was captured resting her arm protectively over her stomach at Royal Ascot.
In another image, Zara Tindall was seen congratulating her cousin Eugenie, which fans believed was pregnancy-related.
However, as her mother Sarah confirms, the princess is not pregnant.
In her toast, Fergie also addressed her current living situation with ex-husband Prince Andrew.
“Yes I do live in Royal Lodge with my handsome prince, who is the best-looking prince of the whole darn lot, you know, there you go,” she said, sending the crowd cheering.
