Reese Witherspoon spent Tuesday night live-tweeting premiere of Big Little Lies 2 – and she did not hold back about co-star Meryl Streep.
The Hollywood legend has joined Reese, Nicole Kidman, Laura Dern, Zoe Kravitz and Shailene Woodley for the highly anticipated season two of the TV series, which is based on the Lianne Moriarty book of the same title.
Playing Mary Louise Wright, the mother of Perry Wright (Alexander Skarsgard) who was killed at the end of season one, viewers watch Mary Louise grows increasingly suspicious of the Monterey Five – and her one-liners are seriously acerbic.
At one point, Mary Louise tells Reese’s character, Madeline that she finds “little people to be untrustworthy”.
However, Reese had some pretty sharp comebacks of her own.
