Rhianna and A$AP Rocky have reportedly welcomed their second child together.
WATCH: Rihanna performs at the Super Bowl Halftime Show
TMZ has reported the 35-year-old singer gave birth to a son on August 3 – almost two weeks ago.
Sources close to the couple shared with the publication that her son’s name starts with the letter ‘R’.
Rihanna first sparked pregnancy rumours when she appeared to have a baby bump during her Super Bowl Halftime Show performance, with a representative for the singer later confirming to The Hollywood Reporter that she was indeed pregnant.
Rihanna teased fans before her performance that she’d be bringing out a ‘special guest’ to the Super Bowl but her entire performance went by without one of her previous collaborators (like Calvin Harris, Drake or Jay-Z) appearing.
It’s clear now, since she’s confirmed her pregnancy, when she teased a special guest she meant her new baby.
Rihanna already shares a one year old son, RZA with her partner A$AP Rocky and credits motherhood for being the reason she decided to tackle the Super Bowl.
“When you become a mum, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world; you can do anything. And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was … there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all,” Rihanna said during the Super Bowl LVII Pregame & Apple Music Halftime Show press conference before adding:
“It’s important for my son to see that.”
Rihanna sang many of her iconic hits during her Super Bowl set; she started with B**ch Better Have My Money and worked her way through Umbrella, Work, Only Girl (In The World) and Diamonds to a cheering crowd.
