At a time when most people are just trying to stay alive and keep their jobs, Rob Kardashian is making a desperate attempt to cash in on the coronavirus crisis. By selling over-priced face masks.

The 33-year-old has been slammed online for attempting to spruik US$18 (AUD$29) masks by his brand Halfway Dead.

In a seriously misguided marketing judgement, the father-of-one chose to make his masks a morbid black colour, with his brand’s rather unfortunate name emblazoned on the front.

‘Why his name?’ one user asked in the comment section.

‘Kinda inappropriate name for the masks [shrugging emoji]’ shared another.

‘Idk about that name right on front of the mask….’ said one Instagrammer. ‘Looks like an alert that you have the coronavirus.’

‘Cost $18 for how many masks??’ one fan asked on the brand’s own Instagram.

Perhaps realising his attempt at cashing in on COVID-19 was ill-judged, Rob deleted the post less than an hour after posting it. However, the product still remains up on Halfway Dead’s Instagram and their e-commerce site.

Very little has been seen of Rob in recent years, with the only male member of the Kardashian years choosing to keep his personal life behind closed doors.

However, last October, fans speculated that the reality star had been on a secret weight loss journey after he made a fleeting appearance in one of Kim Kardashian’s Instagram video’s looking noticeably slimmer.
