While the PR maven was forced to deny fan theories that her long-time friend Jackie ‘O’ Henderson was the mystery woman dumping the disgusting deposits outside Roxy’s Sweaty Betty HQ in Sydney’s Paddington, a new theory was revealed today surrounding the mysterious jogger.
Social media users have spread a rumour that Roxy herself is behind the bizarre act and the whole thing is one massive publicity stunt for the PR guru.
Speaking to news.com.au, Roxy denied the claims.
“I mean, if that’s the case I really am the PR Queen,” she joked.
Jacenko doesn’t believe the woman was deliberately targeting her, although the Sweaty Betty office has been the subject of attacks by vandals in the past.
“No I definitely don’t. This isn’t targeted, this is a person who’s getting a thrill. Some people have sex on the beach, some people sh*t in the street,” she said.
“This is something people get off on. I get thrills having a vodka and a wedge of lime, others do this.”
While we’re still none the wiser as to who the ‘Paddington Popper’ is, the unsavoury story has since gone viral, with news outlets around the world reporting on the bizarre incident.
After catching a mystery woman defecating outside her Sweaty Betty office , Roxy posted a series of gross videos to Instagram over the weekend in a bid to catch culprit.
The videos, taken in broad daylight, clearly show a woman squatting behind a car in affluent Paddington, where Roxy works.
On Monday, Roxy revealed she was forced to delete the videos after many accused her pal Jackie O Henderson of being behind the act.
“I took the video down because everyone kept saying it was Jackie. I thought, ‘oh good grief this needs to go’,” the PR maven said during a phone interview on KIIS FM’s The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
