These days Terri Irwin’s good mate Russell Crowe is the proud owner of the Rabbitohs.
And he’s putting his cold hard cash behind the team.

The Daily Telegraph are reporting the the footy team are in the midst to get two huge sponsors for the new season.
They’d be bringing in around $1 million a year for a total of $6 million.
“While not dealing directly with the companies day-to-day, it is understood Crowe has strategically entered discussions when necessary,” the publication share.
Apparently the potential new sponsors love the Hollywood actor’s “passion”.
The star, who recently brought in new coach Wayne Bennet, is “looking forward to 2019″.
Tom Burgess, whose sister-in-law Phoebe is about to give birth, shared, “He’s really passionate, which is great. I’m sure Russell will be sending a text out this week. Reminding the boys what it means to the public and the fans.”
Crowe purchased the club in 2006 for $3million.
