In her letter, Brooke revealed how everyone he met immediately knew he had a big heart.

“In only 11 short years you brought so much joy into our lives, so I find myself questioning how I’m going to continue living without you,” Brooke Teasdale wrote in a letter published by The Daily Telegraph.

“But I know that you would want me to be happy. You would want all of us to be happy because that’s the type of person you are.

“It absolutely breaks my heart to know that I’m never going to see you again.”

“I know that you will forever be with us, you will watch down over us and smile with that big grin of yours. I will continue to stay strong, we all will,” she said.

She ended the letter saying: “Life is precious and unpredictable, so go out and tell your loved ones that you love them. Fly high, Ryan.”

It is believed the Ryan was swept away while bodyboarding with friends during heavy rain at Riley Park in Unanderra, near Wollongong, on Thursday afternoon.

Ryan’s body was discovered in a creek bed at the end of a stormwater drain in Unanderra approximately 11:00am Friday.
