The Duchess of York was in London to accept the Inspiration of the Year award for her services to charity at Hello! magazine’s Star Women awards on Tuesday.
During her speech she promised to help the 2018 star mums winner Lisa Wells with an upcoming fundraiser, before quipping, ‘Maybe you’d prefer one of the other duchesses?’
It’s no secret that the Duchess of Cambridge and the Duchess of Sussex are hugely popular with the public, however Fergie need not worry too much.
The Duchess of York has enjoyed something of a comeback of late, proving popular with the crowds at her daughter, princess Eugenie’s wedding in 2018, not to mention the persistent rumours that she has secretly rekindled her romance with ex-husband Prince Andrew.
