Daniel Kueblboeck, a German former singer and TV star, has gone missing from a cruise to Canada and the cruise operator says he may have gone overboard.
The 33-year-old first became well known after appearing as a contestant in Germany’s version of Pop Idol in 2003. Aida Cruises says that there is reason to believe Kueblboeck jumped overboard on Sunday morning with spokesman Hansjoerg Kunze saying, “That is our suspicion.”
Kueblboeck’s disappearance comes months after he posted a message to his official fan club on Facebook about enduring “months of bulling” that shook “deeply in my sou” as a child at school, reported The Sun.
“Dear fans. Unfortunately, I still do not feel better mentally and physically,” he wrote.
“I have yet to cope with this pain of the past months.”

Kueblboeck was one of about 2200 passengers travelling on the cruise ship from Hamburg, Germany to Newfoundland, Canada. Aida Cruises have said that it is believed he entered the water off the coast of Newfoundland and the ship he had been on board was stopped and returned to the area.
It is believed the incident occurred rough 185km north of St John’s, Newfoundland where water temperatures were recorded to be at 10.5C.
The Canadian coastguard have also confirmed on Sunday that a surveillance plane and helicopter were becing used to search the Labrador Sea. Meanwhile, two other cruises also aided in the search.
Kueblboeck made his last television appearance in Season 8 of Let’s Dance in 2015 and was studying to be an actor at the European Theatre Institute Berlin.
