Lewis starred as waiter-turned-movie star Smith Jerrod and appeared in 16 episodes of the series as well as both spin-off films.

When asked about the feud between the actresses during an interview on KTLA 5, Lewis first responded, “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all”.

He then continued, “Listen, I would have to say that Sarah was always so lovely and such a consummate professional, and I think that people should remember their graciousness and the things that have been given to them, and I’m going to stop there because I’ve got nothing good to say.”

Lewis was finally asked if he was ‘Team SJP’? To which he responded,  “I might just have to say yeah, yeah. What a gracious lady; she was always so good to me.”

Were other people not so good to you, the interviewer asked? “Sarah was amazing,” he laughed, avoiding the question.

The drama between the Sex and the City leading ladies began when the plug was filmed on the third film last year, with Cattrall telling Piers Morgan that she felt she’d had a “toxic relationship” with Parker and her costars.

The feud’s most recent public fight occurred when Parker expressed private and public condolences after Cattrall’s brother  was found dead.

Cattrall blasted Parker on Instagram, accusing her of “exploiting our tragedy in order” and telling her “You are not my friend” and “I don’t need your love and support at this tragic time.”
