It’s only taken until 2021 but it feels as though we’re finally starting to have insightful, open and, most of all, exciting, conversations about sex.

With talk about sexual wellness, toys and intimacy making their way into the mainstream and shows like Netflix’s hit Sex Education taking the world by storm, we can only wish we’d been having these discussions earlier.
Much to our delight, in all sense of the term, Australian start-up, NORMAL, is giving us a much-needed re-education in sex.
Their masterclass, titled The Modern Guide to Sex and co-designed by Georgia Grace, an acclaimed Australian sex coach is taking us through what we DIDN’T learn in school, but really should have.
The online course, which can be attended from the privacy of your own home, runs for 15 sessions totalling 120mins and cost just $29 or FREE (!!) for students over 18 at university, college or tech school.
To top it off NORMAL is also offering 30% off a toy to go with your course purchase, with the code TRYBOTH30.
The Modern Guide to Sex covers topics related to pleasure, consent, relationships and sexual health, including but not limited to; understanding pleasure, the science of foreplay, arousal and orgasms, masturbation and solo exploration and vaginal, anal and oral sex.
“Sex education has always been about what NOT to do – some schools will teach you how to put a condom around a banana, but not how to have sex. We need to educate people on pleasure, emotional connection and intimacy in a way that’s practical and realistic”, NORMAL founder, Lucy Wark says.
