As the world shuts down and goes into isolation amidst the coronavirus pandemic, Nadia Bartel has opened up about how she is struggling to adjust to life as a single mum.

In an honest Instagram Story Q&A session, the 34-year-old – who split from husband Jimmy Bartel last year – confessed that she was finding it ‘very lonely’ parenting her two sons, Aston, four and Henley, One alone.
‘It’s hard. And I would be lying if I said it doesn’t feel very lonely at times,’ the fashion blogger admitted.
‘You don’t have your person to share all their milestones, cute things they do, ups and downs, and deal with their tantrums etc’.
But there are upsides, she added, revealing: ‘The positive is, it is rewarding. I am also super lucky to have a supportive family’.

The Melbourne socialite also revealed that she hasn’t ruled out having more children.
‘Yes, I would love more children,’ she said, before adding; ‘Obviously not thinking about that now.’

Nadia and Jimmy confirmed their split last August, with sources saying they had ended their relationship two months previously.
Jimmy, 36 has since gone on to date another, younger Melbourne socialite, Lauren Mand, 27.
Last month, Nadia appeared to make an apparent dig at her ex-husband and his new love.
‘You either get bitter or you get better. It’s that simple,’ Nadia wrote in a since-deleted post.
‘You either take what has been dealt to you and allow it to make you a better person, or you allow it to tear you down. The choice does not belong to fate, it belongs to you.’
It wouldn’t be totally farfetched to presume the fashionista was referencing her marriage breakdown.
Just the week before, Lauren and Jimmy touched down in Tokyo, Japan for a ‘much needed holiday,’ according to Lauren, who shared a snap of herself and Jimmy wearing matching retro tracksuits.
