The 37-year-old, who is in Thailand with her best friend Oscar Gordon, said she was “upset” before crying on air.

“I can’t even tell you, I’m so upset. I can’t read it — I was telling Oscar to read it all and it’s not good,” she told the radio duo.

“You can only delete a certain amount but I don’t think viewers realise, I can’t choose everyone. I’ve got to choose one.”

“I can’t make everyone happy — I’ve got to make me happy.”

“You realise you’ve got to keep an audience happy but you happy as well and I understand what they said, like I know, he came off amazing. But you’ve got to understand also, there’s a lot cut out,” she revealed.

Following last night’s episode, Monk also took to Instagram to share a sweet message in an attempt to let James know she has no hard feelings towards him and made a joke to soften the blow.

“James is the perfect gu, unfortunately, I’m not the perfect person for him. He is organised, together and tidy. I’ve dated a guy like him before and I’d do his head in 🙄. He’ll find a better girl than me x @jimmys.paradise.”
