Sydney storm is here and there are major flash flooding warnings

We can’t say we weren’t forewarned that Sydney would be receiving their wettest day.

The heavens have opened up with over 200mm drenching the state Sydney compared to the average November rainfall which was 84mm.

The NSW State Emergency Service have declared: “It’s a great day to work from home!”

About two months of rain is splashing across NSW at this very moment.

Authorities are recommending you don’t go in to work today, due to the crazy weather.

Sydney Airport have advised: “ Due to adverse weather conditions today, we expect that International and Domestic terminals will experience some flight delays and cancellations. Please contact your airline for more information.”

While NSW police are recommending you stay off the roads.

We’re asking all road users to perhaps reconsider the need to be on the road through what will be a severe rain event,” NSW Police Chief Inspector Phillip Brooks said.

“Drivers, riders, cyclists and pedestrians need to make sure they are safe on our roads.”
