Sylvia Jeffreys is set to co-host the red carpet coverage at the 2019 Logie Awards this Sunday on the Gold Coast.
However, the Nine star has revealed that husband, Peter Stefanovic won’t be joining her on the red carpet.
However, before the rumour mill went into overdrive, the former Today show host has spoken out to reveal exactly why Peter won’t be by her side.
And there’s a very good reason.

He’s not coming this year, because he’ll be up at 3am the next morning starting his new role,’ the 33-year-old TV A Current Affair star explained.
Sylvia was of course referring to 37-year-old Peter’s new gig at Sky News, where he’s set to commence work on the network’s flagship program First Edition alongside co-host Laura Jayes.
This is Peter’s first job since his departure from the Nine network last year, and since older brother Karl Stefanovic was dumped from the Today show.
