Taylor Swift has topped Forbes magazine’s list of the 100 highest-paid celebrities, earning a whopping $225 million AUD ($170 million USD) in the past 12 months.
The US singer’s large pay cheque is mainly a result of her massively successful 1989 World Tour, which grossed $264 million AUD for the star last year.
Swift’s closest competitor on the list was British boy band One Direction, who placed at No. 2 with $145 million AUD.
The Shake It Off singer, who is currently dating Thor actor Tom Hiddleston, ranked ahead of fellow female singers Adele (No. 9 with $105 million), Madonna (No. 12 with $101 million), Rihanna (No. 13 with $99 million) and Katy Perry (No. 63 with $54 million).
Meanwhile, her ex-boyfriend DJ Calvin Harris was No. 21 on the list, earning $83 million AUD.
The cover of the magazine’s July 26 issue features Kim Kardashian West, who was ranked at No. 42, with total earnings of $67 million for the past 12 months.
