There’s set to be some big changes on The Project this year, as Channel Ten producers confirm the panel is set for a shake-up.

Speaking to the Herald Sun on Thursday, Ten chief content officer Beverley McGarvey said the almost-nightly changes in the panel lineup will stop.
‘You won’t see the same faces six nights a week but what I would like to have is consistency and familiarity,’ she said.
Last year, viewers tuned in to see a mix of hosts including; Gorgi Coghlan, Susie Youssef, Joel Creasey and Dave Thornton – a factor that could be an explanation for decreasing ratings, explains McGarvey.
“We don’t want people to feel like they’re getting the B-team.
“It needs to be that if you see Waleed, Carrie, and Pete on a Monday… it will be every single Monday,” she continued.
In ratings published by Mumbrella in December, The Project failed to attract a bigger audience than ABC’s 7.30 – which beat it by 100,000 viewers.
