This morning, Australia woke up to huge news…the first trailer for The Bachelor 2019 has just dropped!
*cue screams*
Aussie audiences were given their first peek at new Bachelor, Matt Agnew as Ten released a teaser ahead of the new series (no start date has been announced yet sadly).

The short clip sees Astrophysicist, Matt come crashing down to earth in superhero fashion in a large red heart, touching down in an explosion of rose petals.
The brainy hunk then proceeds to slow walk down the street to the tune of ‘Real Love’ by Clean Bandit and Jess Glynne, meanwhile a gaggle of gorgeous gown-clad girls saunter by, admiring our new Bachelor.
Matt then spots a black limo, with none other than host Osher Gunsberg standing waiting with a bunch of red roses.
“You’re going to need these,” grins Osher, before Matt climbs into the limo – which bares the number plate ‘Bachelor.’
Speaking to The Daily Telegraph earlier this week, Matt – who is the first non-famous Bachelor in several seasons – said he’s ‘really excited’ to share his Bachie journey and that: ‘It’s probably the most naked I can get without taking my clothes off!’
A Ten insider revealed earlier this year that producers were keen to secure someone who hadn’t already been in the public eye for this season.
The novelty of watching a celebrity search for love has worn off and producers figured that out pretty quickly after Nick Cummins’ finale,’ a source told the Mail Online.
‘Matt is a normal, decent guy who is genuinely looking to meet someone.
‘Producers see this as a way of giving the public what they failed to give them last year – a happily ever after!’
