Speaking on her podcast Keep It Real with Rach and Tiff, the reality star heartbreakingly admits she was too scared to report the incident to police at the time and didn’t tell anyone close to her about the horrific assault.

Retelling the story to her fellow Bachelor alum and fellow podcast host, Tiffany Scanlon, Rachael – who appeared on Richie Strahan’s series of The Bachelor – explains she was with some girlfriends at a house party when the incident happened.

“A few of my girlfriends were hooking up with boys,” she said.

“One of the boys I wasn’t really interested in. He pulled me around the side of the party in a very dark alley and sexually abused me.”

When Tiff asked the 34-year-old to explain exactly what happened, Rachael stated: “He raped me,” before going on to say that once the party was over, she was left on the grass :crying her eyes out.”

Maintaining the believe that the police wouldn’t believe her story, Rachael chose to keep quiet about the horrifying incident. The reality star admitted she didn’t feel comfortable telling her friends and even kept it a secret from her mum only confiding in a psychologist.

“I’ve never been able to tell my Mum,’ she admitted. ‘One thing I hate is people worrying about me.”

“I didn’t think I would ever share this with anybody and I have opened it up to the whole world.

“Everybody deals with things in different ways. I like to keep things to myself.”
