Following on from the mass exit threat on Sunday night’s episode of The Block, tensions are at an all-time high between contestants – especially husband and wife duo El’ise and Matt.
The couple had a major on-screen blow-up on Monday night’s episode after Matt said he didn’t think they would win the show, prompting El’ise to say that he was “embarrassing himself” and putting their family in “jeopardy.”

An enraged El’ise went on to label her husband a “nasty d***head.”
I’m hopeful we can win it,’ she said at first, before Matt disagreed, with the pair having gone on the show to help their family.
“We probably won’t, not the way it’s rolling at the moment,” he said.
“Are you kidding me? With that attitude, that’s disgusting, why would you say that? You don’t believe our house is the best on The Block?” she said.
“You are really embarrassing yourself right now, you’re putting your family in jeopardy right now… putting our family into a situation I don’t like. You are an idiot.”
Matt didn’t help the situation by revealing his wife had been crying all day after the judges had slammed their kitchen.
“You’re being a d***head,” she said, adding that she thinks their house is “the best.”
“That’s a load of s**t, why do you question yourself?!” Matt retaliated.
