Terrifying footage has emerged of the moment a flight attendant was lifted off her feet and slammed in to the roof of an airplane during violent turbulence.
According to a report in The Sun, 10 people were injured and taken to hospital after the flight from Pristina, Kosovo, to Basel, Switzerland landed on June 17.
Speaking to German news outlet Badische Zietung, passanger Mirjeta Basha said she believed she was going to die.
“I thought we all had to die. My husband has scalded his neck.
Press officer Vivienne Gaskell, of EuroAirport in Basel confirmed passengers and crew had been shaken violently after weathering unrelenting turbulence for 10 minutes.
“A Boeing from Pristina landed at Euroairport with 121 passengers on schedule at 20.07 pm.
“Ten people were taken immediately after landing brought to a hospital in Basel with minor injuries,” Gaskell said.
