It would seem the identity of one of The Masked Singer’s hidden performers may have been revealed!

Just hours after the first episode of Ten’s bizarre new show Leon Sjogren, a producer at Fox FM’s Fifi, Fev & Byron show, tweeted a snap of himself with Wolf, one of the characters who performed on the night.

Posted before the end of the show – around 8:30pm – the wolf was tagged as actor Rob Mills.

“Me with @RobMillsyMills earlier today. #MaskedSingerAU,” read the caption.

However, Leon’s Instagram post has since been questioned, with an insider telling Daily Mail Australia that the radio producer had “made a guess based on the voice in the promos” and did not know for sure that Wolf was Rob Mills.

But the spoiler is enough to convince viewers that the wolf is in fact Mills, stating they recognise the former Australian Idol star’s distinctive voice – with even Bachelorette star Georgia Love tweeting her predictions.

The Masked Singer sees 12 celebrities face off against each other as they perform anonymously in elaborate costumes (including a lion, dragon, octopus, monster, wolf, unicorn and prawn costume), but some viewers have been left confused around one major detail – whether or not the masked singers are actually singing “live”.

And while the official stance from Channel 10 is that the artists behind the costumes are singing live, fans aren’t entirely convinced.

“So im confused – how is this live?” wrote one user.

“Hey #MaskedSingerAU, why give mics when they’re masked, they’re surely not singing live then?!” tweeted another.
