With the news that Meghan Markle’s BFF’s Jessica Mulroney and Serena Williams have both flown across the pond to visit Baby Archie, royal fans have begun to wonder why some very important members of the royal family have yet to meet the royal bub.

Watch below to find out the very surprising way Prince Harry told his family about the royal baby’s birth:

According to reports, despite the fact that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have met Harry and Meghan’s newborn, their children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis have yet to be introduced to their cousin.

However, there is a simple explanation.

Both William and Kate were forced to visit their nephew in the evening due to prior engagements in the day, so it would most likely have been too late for George, five, Charlotte, four and Louis, 13 months to make the one hour journey from London to Frogmore Cottage in Windsor, reports Hello Magazine.

The fact that George and Charlotte would have been attending school the next morning is also another factor to consider.

It is not unusual for younger members of the royal family to meet new additions to the family until a later stage – in fact, Prince George didn’t meet his cousin, Mia Tindall until she was two months old.
